    Changing orientation of a photo

    Maricris24 Level 1

I have a landscape photo and I want to change the orientation to portrait photo. I want to save that file to order a enlargement, to put it on my portrait frame. How I do that? I know you can do it for printing, but I want to save the photo as  a portrait.

Thank you so much for your help!!!! I have Adobe Photoshop Elements 11.

Try using the crop tool to drag out an area for your portrait and before clicking the green checkmark, use the corner handles of the bounding box by hovering just outside, to rotate. Continue to drag if you need to refine the portrait then click the green checkmark. Then use the top menu:

Image >> Rotate >> 90 degrees left or right.
