    InDesign style sheets?

    jon.vince Level 1

I'm wondering if there is a way in cs6 to create an external styles doc in indesign? Similar to how linking images works and are alerted when the image is missing, is there a way to link a style sheet to any type of style?

I aware that you can load character styles and do not wish to publish to html. I'm looking for an alternative to link styles across multiple indesign docs without opening each one and changing each style. Long story short, I have about 30 different indesign files, each needing a very consistent theme/branding.

Any help, ideas are appreciated. Thanks

Closest you can get is to collect all the InDesign documents together in

an InDesign book (.indb). Then select one of the documents to be the

source document, and sync all the other documents to that one. It's all

          done in the book panel.
