I have CS5 Master Collection that I bought in 2010 when I worked at a University... NO watermarking
I have never read any other messages concering watermarking in the education version of any Adobe program
hello, @ John: cheers for the info
do you forsee any problems purchasing the boxed cs6 from the university
when i am a licensed high school teacher...i don't teach at the university
i have received conflicting reports from online chat
and academic phone support guy is very standoffish
he almost seems to not like the fact that i am not buying from adobe at 600$
but can get same product for 350$?
any comments/advice please?
As far as I know, you qualify... but click the links above to read for yourself, especially the 2nd link
PS - when I bought CS5 MC it was from an online store that was ONLY available to staff & students of specific schools, so my price was lower than the "general" online stores that sold education versions... and my registration/activation was the same as anybody else
hello John, thanks again for the links
i called back the same customer support number and spoke with someone different...
this man said that if the university is willing to sell the cs6 to me, adobe would validate it
it is the university policy that dictates whether or not the university bookstore sells me the product
if i walk out the door with it, adobe will verify my teacher credentials...all seems well
everyone does their best to pitch the cloud, too...
