So you're saying that pen pressure now works in Photoshop on the MS Surface Pro? You have one, you've tried it, and it works? Is that right?

How well does it work? Is it smooth, responsive? How does it compare to using an Intuos/Cintiq?

The moment I heard that Microsoft had messed up pen pressure I lost all interest in the surface pro, but if it's working well now, it might be worth trying one out. Thanks for posting this.

(still can't believe it took MS this long though; in fact, I can't believe they didn't make sure it worked before launching the thing... some of the blunders big companies make are unbelievable)

              Hey there folks,

I figure I take some time to respond to the surface pro things,.....

@Alanomaly, yes pretty good so far, I can not complain about the pen pressure. MS had nothing to do with it except to communicatge with Adobe, and Wacom..as things go, all three needed to agree on working on this. The driver is through Wacom on their site under the Tablet PC select. Thats it. You load, restart PC an it works.

Now as far as comparing it to Intuos/Cintiq, well, its not a question really. The Surface Pro tablet functions like a PC but is smaller  than a 9x12 Intuos and Cintiq, with the exception of the smallest sizes of eother of those. But, I do not use the smaller sizes. I do have a Cintiq 24 HD, love it!!! When Im away, the road, at the shore,..or at work and want to doodle, sketch, concept draw, whatever, Im not using Surface Pro to do full fledged digital content, ..Ill take it home and finish or expand on it.....but I wont divulge my personal reasons for using it , but, that is why I think Surface Pro exists, so I can use it for what I want and be happy.  Now, if Wacom comes out w a tablet and its a tablet like Surface Pro, and a user wont need to hook up a Wacom type of tablet to a PC to work on it as a mobile device, then, I ll be rethinking my options....maybe.

Now, I have  a Xeon cpu in my machine and a second one when Im ready to use it, and I see the i5 and i7 cpus really taking advantage of the mixer brushes and interactive brushes better than my xeon cpus. I wish to make that better on my machine but thats another story.

              I hope tht helps.....

                So, in VERY simple words..

IF I buy a Microsoft Surface Pro

1 - WIll I be able to run Adobe Photoshop CS6 on it

2 - Will I be able to use the stylus on the screen, to paint and draw with pressure sensitivity?

3 - Will this work on both the Surface Pro 2 AND the Surface Pro?

If your answer is yes, I will buy one

Thank you very much for your help in advance

Did this ever get sorted out for you?  Are you able to paint and draw on-screen using pressure sensitive stylus?  Or does it remain a distant dream?

And is it definitely CS6, and not Photoshop Touch?

You folks might find useful the article Surface Pro 2: What Runs, What Doesn't on the site http://surfaceproartist.com/  (I've not had a chance to try a Surface Pro or Surface Pro 2, but that site is very thorough)

That "Surface Pro Artist" site also has lots of reviews for other similar devices from the point of view of someone wanting a portable drawing screen for serious design or digital art work.

Yeah.  We're talking CS6, not Touch, because it's a windows computer which is capable of running the full Adobe CS6 package.  If you're using an iPad or an Android tablet you would need to use Touch.
