Make sure you have downloaded the latest version of Cuda and make sure that there are no instances of any beta open gl drivers on your system. There are a bunch of threads on enabling Cuda on MacBook Pro's on this forum.
Here's just one of them: http://forums.adobe.com/message/4891309
Thank you very much. I have all the settings similar to the one in your screen shot. The system is working properly. However i would still have a question: even in your case the OpenGL shader model seems to be gray (not available). Does this affect the performance? Should i do anything to upgrade it to version 3.0 or higher as i read here: http://blogs.adobe.com/aftereffects/2012/05/gpu-cuda-opengl-features-in-after-effects-cs6. html
If the system seems to be working fine, there is nothing left for you to do.
