Are you talking about PS 4 which is 12+ years old or CS4? CS4 S/N should be on the box and be 6 groups of 4 digits each.
Assuming you registered it, go to Adobe's home page, and, in the upper right, click on "My Adobe". From here, under "My Products and Services", click on "My Products". You will find all your Adobe S/Ns there.
Thank you for responding. It is PS 4.0 from 12 years ago. Unfortunately I registered it using ISP that is no longer in business and an email address I don't remember.
Would you know the format of the S/N on the old PS 4.0?
The S/N I have on file for v5.0 (but I think it was for v4.0 originally) is
I Think "PWW" indicates "Photoshop for Windows".
The S/N is not printed anywhere on the CD sleeve.
Not sure why my answer was deleted. Given that he honestly owns PS 4, I can't see why directing him to PS 9 is illegal or unethical. Prior versions also qualify for the download as far as I have been told.
If he can't find the s/n for his software,at least this might help.
Even Chris Cox said that the CS2 can be downloaded and used by anyone that has CS2 OR A PRIOR VERSION.
True and thanks for confirming it, Curt. That's why I can't understand why my answer was pulled out of the discussion.
