Why is Adobe Acrobat converting my .pdf to a .png when I try to email the file from Adobe Acrobat as a copy?
Doesn't sound like what Acrobat is meant to do. Can you explain how you go about emailing and how you can be sure it's a PNG? There might be a detail that points us to the solution.
I open the .pdf file in Acrobat 9.5, I know it's a .pdf.....I click on the email icon inside Acrobat to send the file as a copy to an email address; it attaches to the email as a .png....I am very familiar with PNG files so I know it is a PNG, not a .pdf....I've never had Acrobat do that before...we use this feature every day, and it works fine on another computer, performing the exact same task....only on my computer....it has always worked, and for some reason, today the pdfs were converted to pngs..
