Warp Tool Brush: preview vs. results

Hello again,

Since my previous Illustrator question was answered so quickly today, I thought I wold post another problem that I have come across using AI.

When I use the Warp Tool, I get a nice smooth preview (outline) of how I want my shape to warp. But one I release the the brush, it almost never renders as smooth as its preview. I've tried changing Warp Options (like Detail and Simplify) but I still get  unexpected results. I'm sure user error, how can I get warp results to more closely match the preview I get when dragging the Warp Tool?
