But- Do I need to do anything before June 18th?

    MissyJo13

I keep hearing the same info about how it will automatically roll over but can anyone say to me, "No, you won't lose your pictures and do not have to worry about Photoshop Premeire Album Starter Ed. 3.2?"  I just want to be sure that I don't have to register with this service and/ or do anything.  I have many pictures and they're saved in the cloud and I haven't purchased it at this point.  I still have about 5 uses to decide and it sounds like I should go with something newer that has support, if I can.  Do I have to register for this software before the updates or does this not affect me at all?  And are you sure?

      Thanks a million,

      Melissa

          Melissa,

The migration only affects files stored at Photoshop.com cloud storage.

If you store files on Photoshop.com, then you can archive them to your computer before Photoshop.com is discontinued.  Jpg files will be copied automatically to Revel in the transition. Other file types will not copy and will disappear when Photoshop.com closes. This is why we recommend archiving your files. Here is a link about how to archive the files from Photoshop.com to your computer.

I don't know  where you saved the files you use in the starter edition. That program was discontinued in 2009.

They're saved in the program, so it must be a working program still?  Hopefully your link will answer the question.  Thank you.  Melissa

Yes, you can use software that you purchased as long as your computer will run it, but that particular software is just not updated or supported anymore. I am glad you found your files and answers in the link.
