Did you decompress the downloaded archive and run the installer?
I have 2 folders:
1: C:\Users\User\Desktop\Adobe InDesign CS6 Server <--- (Installation Instruction in here)
2: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe InDesign CS6 Server x64
Both folders appear to be unzipped or decompressed. I don't recall actively decompressing nor do i see an option from right clicking folder to decompress.
The only thing related to Installation are instructions in a PDF that refers to using a CD. I downloaded program from:
Thank for responding, and so quick to answer as well
Did you mean to install InDesign Server which is a script driven processing program with no user interface, or were you looking for the regualr version of InDesign that allows you to do page layout in a GUI environment? I think you probably downloaded the wrong trial.
And please delete your personal info and autosignture when you reply by email.
Do you happen to have access to the proper link in which to download? I appreciate your help a lot, friend.
I'm not certain what will happen -- that's where I was directed when trying to download the CS6 trial and It opens the Adobe Application Manager for download, but since I already have CS6 installed it didn't offer me the trial, and I don't know whether this is a route to purchasing a perpetual license if that's what you want. A creative Cloud subscription will get you CS6 now, and the new version next week, but thats the new subscription model and you must continue to subscribe to continue to use the software. I suspect you'll be offered a way to purchase the perpetual license for CS6, though, if you want to do that (no perpetual licensing will be available for the new version, only cloud subscription).
