I am running inDesign CS5.5 on a MacBook running OSX 10.8.3. I've had this problem before when dealing with master page items (http://forums.adobe.com/message/3965181#3965181); the solution was to recreate the master pages and all was forgiven. However, now I am encountering the same problem with regular text and graphic boxes on a page (in addition to master page items). When I export the entire document to PDF some of the elements shift position, when I replace the text or image box with a new one and export again, something else on the same page shifts. Every time I fix one problem another one crops up on the same page. I've looked through the forums and there are a couple of posts with recommendations (http://forums.adobe.com/message/3282346#3282346 and http://forums.adobe.com/message/2549679#2549679%232549679), but these are pretty old and either don't apply (layout adjustment is off) or aren't working for me (every time one problem is fixed another is created). Exporting to IDML hasn't worked either. The only thing I have found is to export the page on it's own and then it exports fine. Is there any update on this problem? Has anyone found a solution yet?
Did you find a fix/solution for this problem? My colleague is having the same problem and can also export the pages okay by there own.
We can usually troubleshoot any other issue/s we come across, this one is quite random and isolated.
Does anyone else have a fix/solution?
