Here is the client's request: Make an MS Word template for us. One where the background image is permanent, and continues when the writer writes past the first page. I.e., duplicates that master page so every new page has the background artwork on it.
I know how to put in a background image, it's just the automatic new page as the writer writes that bugs me. I don't know how to do that.
I use Word for Mac 2011
How to do that?
OK, I think I've figured it out. I can be done, but you can't do it with a text box, you have to do it without using a text box and hitting "enter" until the cursor reaches the bottom of the page and then it will create a new page with the template.
Unless there is a better solution it seems that it will be the one I'll be sending to the client.
I think you might be able to do it with a frame that is nominally in the header, but I haven't had a chance to test.
