do you think i messed up by trying to activate a cs6 trial with academic version serials?
when activating do you know if you use upper case letter o's or zeros?

hello, yes indeed i got the cs6 activated today and am very happy
i had a great time chatting with adobe india
and it turns out that it was my mistake: with the request code for offline activation
being soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo long
i made 2 mistakes in capitalization and misread a 0 for an O
i am grateful for the people that helped me and were patient...
i am very pleased

Since there have been bug fix updates, you will need to get the update files to your computer
Either by using a different computer and a USB flash drive, or by buying a LONG network cable
All Adobe updates start here and select product, read to see if you need to install updates in number order, or if the updates are cumulative for the individual product http://www.adobe.com/downloads/updates/
