ADE does not recognize my nook. I have followed all steps suggested by Barnes and Nobel, including deleting the ADE file folder and uninstalling and reinstalling ADE. I'm running windows 8. Looking for any advice as the nook is recognized by the computer and connected as a media source, but ADE does not automatically recognize it or ask for authorization or basically do anything at all other than show the library with the one e-book that comes with ADE. HELP??
There are lots of bugs in ADE2.0. One is issues seeing certain devices.
Try replacing ADE2.0 with the older but more reliable v1.7.2.
Version 1.7.2, it is a little difficult to find, available on Adobe site for Windows and for Mac.
