CS5 Win 7
I have a clip that is mono audio. I read that you can easily 'convert' these to stereo by right clicking on the file in the project panel and choosing >Modify>audio chanels. However when I do this, the resulting option panel is 'greyed' out. Can anyone see why ?
What would be the point here? The result would not be genuine stereo.
i realise that it's ot true stereo but it sounds a lot better tahn the awfull echo-ey result that you get from mono ( IME).
Being a mono file doesn't produce any echo that isn't in the original file.
And even if you did get that one channel into two, it'd be the same signal sent to both sides, so you'd hear the exact same sound as with mono, except maybe a tad louder.
