Are you trying to get iphoto photos into Revel from a mac? Do any of them load?
Yes, I am trying to load from iPhoto to revel. I have around 1500 pictures
from a safari. No, they don't all load. Only about 114 for some reason.
I am on a new Mac and using google chrome
Try instead to copy via the file system:
Find the iPhoto Library and choose Show Package Contents
Find the subfolder called "Masters" -- originals are store there.
Note: it might be necessary to copy the Masters folder to a location outside of the iPhoto Library to ensure Revel has access to each photo. Otherwise some files might be locked and unable to read into Revel.
To add what Pattie mention,
You might try uploading a group of 100 images as test to confirm that they all do upload. Depending on your internet speed it might take a while.
You can download the Revel mac app from https://www.adoberevel.com/getstarted and sort your images into albums. Then you could upload from the images from the hard drive.
Hi, I thought it was working but no. Many of my pictures are in RAW format
and that might be the problem. Since AR does not support raw, I think I
should delete revel and go back to Lightroom 4. What is your thought on
You are correct that Revel does not currently support the raw format. There have been requests for other formats and many are being considered for the future. Revel and Lightroom have a different focus, so I would keep both Edit in Lightroom and backup/share in Revel.
