    Is My Page Heavy?

    engmix
      Hi,
I am in the middle of redesigning a website. I have blazing fast internet service, so I can't really judge the load time? In DW8 it says that my page size is 36K. Is this an ok size for this type of layout. The images are fairly hi rez, so I could bring them down a notch if need be. The page below would be the most image heavy on the site. Also, any opinions are welcome.

      http://sfrcreations.com/product_layout.html

      Thanks!

          Look fine to me.

One of your small jpgs (bracelet_small_3.jpg) is 12kb and the others are
          only 4kb?

Thanks Os! I had no idea that image was larger. I will now go back and check all 9 thousand of the rest of them and make sure they are all the same size.

              Thanks for the statistics Murray.

Do you guys call up your javascripts externally, or do you leave them in the main body of your pages?

Murray, where did you go to get that info? That's a valuable tool. Kat

You're welcome, Kat. One of the nice little widgets in the Web
Developer's Toobar for Firefox is Tools->View Speed Report. That will
automatically submit the page you are currently viewing to the URL we
                          gave you.
