graphics will be good but maybe run a little slow on
the processor heavy effects like warp stabilizer.
Will definitely work.
Here is an important question: do you have a reason why you need After Effects on a laptop? It will perform better on a desktop machine, andyou get more machine for the same money.

I just graduated from high school and have to move out of home and live closer to college. In the workdays I will be living in the campus and weekends home. For school I need a laptop and my hobby is editing so...I need a laptop with After Effects on it
As long as you don't expect AE to set any speed records, the laptop should be adequate.
Try and go for an i7 processor if you can, upgrade the RAM to 16Gb if it'll take it (some 'off the shelf' ones will go to 32Gb these days, but it's rare) and think about upgrading the hard drive to something a bit faster.
Apart from that, as Dave says, it should do the job.
