mavory Jun 18, 2013 3:35 AM (in response to PECourtejoie)I installed it before the launch of Photoshop CC, but do not see any option via Creative Cloud to re-install Touch App Plugins

mavory Jun 18, 2013 3:53 AM (in response to mavory)I just uninstalled the Touch App Plugins. Not surprisingly this meant psdx files would not open in CS6. Reinstalled Plugins via Creative Cloud. Psdx file opens OK again in CS6 but still is not recognised by Photoshop CC

mavory Jun 18, 2013 4:46 AM (in response to PECourtejoie)Sorted. I made a copy of the 'File Formats' folder (wherein the psdx file loader resides) in CS6 'Plugins' folder and moved it into 'Plugins' Photoshop CC folder. Psdx files now open in Photoshop CC. It would appear that the Touch App plugin does not recognise Photoshop CC as an installation target.

djkatsuo Jun 18, 2013 2:13 PM (in response to mavory)Any update on this issue?? I uninstalled CS6 already. The touch plugin needs to be updated for CC....this is poor planning..

PDFerguson Jun 18, 2013 3:17 PM (in response to djkatsuo)I will look into the issue, I'm not sure why this plugin is not listed anymore in the Creative Cloud files section. The CS6 plugin should work fine in CC, there have been no changes to the plugin for CC, but it is not a standard part of the Photoshop application install, so you still have to install it separately.

djkatsuo Jun 18, 2013 5:32 PM (in response to PDFerguson)After I updated to Photoshop CC, I reinstalled the touch updates but when I go to the plugins folder, there is nothing there. I can't find where the installer is putting the plugin.

PDFerguson Jun 19, 2013 8:24 AM (in response to djkatsuo)Do you have Photoshop CS6 installed on your computer? If so, it likely installed it into CS6. You can look in the CS6 Plug-Ins folder for the plug-in, and either move or copy it to the Plug-Ins folder for Photoshop CC.

djkatsuo Jun 19, 2013 7:39 PM (in response to PDFerguson)No I already uninstalled it. It seems the touch plugins have not been updated to look for the photoshop and illustrator cc plugins folder. The installer is looking for cs6 plugin folder.
This needs to be fixed asap.
