Sorry, we do not support auto expanding the field. Will you be able to provide more information? especifically, which fields do you want to see them expanded?
I have a field where students enter their ‘learning objective’ for internships. Sometimes this is a simple 3 sentence answer, sometimes it involves bullet points, etc. I know I can cut/past information, i.e. bullet points, but the field will not display all items when printed/viewed. I really don’t want to have a field that is 1/3 of the page if I do not need the space. Am I conveying my message okay?
The workaround that you could try is to make the multiple lines field larger so you give enough space to the form filler to add text and be visible at the same time (without scrolling).
When you add the multiple lines textfield in FormsCentral as the form author, you can enlarge the field (resize the field to a larger width/height)
Hover on the lower right corner of the field until you see the resize arrow and then click-hold-drag to the desireable size.
Hope this helps,

Another option is to print the detail view in the View Reponses Tab so that it doesn't change your form layout.
