select the text object
see that round point in the middle? move it to the point that
will be
the center of rotation.
controlled method:
Modify>Transform>Numerical Transform.
Choose Rotate and set a number of degrees.
eyeball method:
Ctrl+T (calls the Transform method)
move your cursor off of the object until the cursor changes
to the
rotate one...
click and move in the direction you need.
When you are where you want to be, double click inside the
object's
bounding box or simply deselect the object (Ctrl+D)
