KateMann Jun 19, 2013 7:01 AM (in response to RocksandPickard)I have the same problem. It rendered photoshop cc totally unusable. I rebooted and flattened the file - but I shouldn't like to work like that. Powerful enough machine: i7 Win8, 8G Ram, nvidea 2 gig graphics card. It should fly.

KateMann Jun 19, 2013 9:08 AM (in response to PECourtejoie)Oddly, PSCS 6 runs perfectly on the system. The drivers are up to date. Does CC require something different? Or did the installation of CC somehow corrupt the drivers? It's puzzling.
I just tied setting the performance preferences to normal and checked that drivers for both graphics cards were up to date: they are. Did some smart sharpening on a layer and then chose the lasso tool. The fickering started immediately that I used the tool.

KateMann Jun 19, 2013 2:23 PM (in response to PECourtejoie)This might also be because your computer is using an onboard graphics gpu instead of the more powerful one ... in cases where there are two. See this parallel thread for a suggestion if this might be the case: http://forums.adobe.com/message/5426353#5426353
