Audition created WAV files won't burn on External programs.

I am creating WAV files on CS6 but they won't burn on to a CD using anything but Auditon this wasn't an issue until I got a new Mac Book Pro without a optical drive and now I am transfering the files to another computer and trying to burn them using Roxio Toast and I get audio sounding like a dial up modem. Any help would be appreciated...

The default bit depth of Audition WAV files is 32-bit where audio CDs require 16-bit. Audition handles the conversion itself very well, but I can't guarantee the quality of conversion if other tools.

Your best bet would be to save as 16-bit from Audition and then use these files in your burning application. You can do this quickly from the Save Ad dialog or use Edit > Convert Sample Type to change the bit depth with some options. Also verify your sample rate for the files is 44,100 to prevent sample rate conversion being required in other applications.
