    New CC build, i7-4770K

    Jack Banatoni Level 1

Getting ready to build two additional workstations and the feedback on this forum is always valuable.

The i7-3930K would be my top choice, but will likely fall outside of my budget range.  Looks like the i7-4770K is the next best option.  My biggest concern is I've read about heating issues.  Also, I've gathered I can't use dual GPU going this route.  Is that correct?  (Don't need it now, but you never know when a 4K project will come up).

Define XL R2 Full size case

      700W PSU (is this enough?)

      ASUS Sabertooth Z87 motherboard

      Corsair XMS3 Series 16GB DDR3-1600

      GTX 660 TI GPU

      CoolerMaster H212 EVO

      Quiet case fans

      Intel 335 Series 240GB SSD

      Seagate 2TB HDD

      Windows 7 Pro 64

This prices out to around $2,000 for each machine.  Is there anything in here that should be swapped out?

For comparison, I'm currently using an i7-2600K / GTX 560 Ti setup with similar components otherwise.  It handles my workload fine.  I am starting to push the limit more with 3D ray-tracing in After Effects, though.

As always, thanks for the input.
