    Table continuation variable

In FrameMaker there is a table variables so that if a table splits from one page to the next, the heading row on the second page of the table can display "Continued"

      Does InDesign have anything similar?

Is there a script that could possibly do this?

          No, but...

InDesign does have a next/previous page marker that points from one part of a chain of threaded frames to another, as iin print periodical. You can customize the text, like, "Don't miss the next exciting text in this story on page ##," or "If you think that last episode on page ## was steamy, compare it with this:" Search Google for terms like "InDesign next page marker number" without quotes. I don't know if it's possible to insinuate these into tables.

          Perhaps there's a script?
