1. Re: Interacting page when Alert is on
Vamitul Jun 19, 2013 10:43 PM (in response to indegn5)you can... sort of..
but
- you must run in a targetengine
- don't use the standard javascript alert, but a custombuilt, ScriptUI panel, to show said alert.

5. Re: Interacting page when Alert is on
shilpa25 Jun 20, 2013 9:46 PM (in response to indegn5)HI VAM,
Thanks for the link. I started reading that.
Could able to create a dialog panel using Confirm options showing Yes & No options. (instead of just javascript alert).
However, when Yes is pressed the alert appear (as i have given condition to check if...... and { alert("the fill color is wrong")}.
I could not able to select the page items when the alert is on and correct, what the alert informs us to do and then continue the find pressing same alert button.
However, using the useful link provided by you, i could find number of options to create diff. designs of dialogs panel.
thanks VAM.

6. Re: Interacting page when Alert is on
Vamitul Jun 20, 2013 10:49 PM (in response to shilpa25)shilpa, by design an alert is a MODAL dialog. it "freezes" the parent application until the user interacts with the alert. you you need it to behave differently, you need to build your own custom object, and, using ScriptUI, it's quite easy.
