    BWF audio and metadata propigation to the PPro6 timeline

    anova890

      When dropping a BWF file with metadata onto the PPro6 timeline It correctly displays the name of the clip from the metadata generated by the sound recorder (SD664) e.g. S04T02 for Scene 4 take 2 but not the track name  e.g. [lav2 Louis]. Instead, it displays [A1] [A2] etc. (for polyphonic files, understandable) but it doesn't rename the timeline track names. Yes, I know each track will have to be dedicated to only one actor/track name on the timeline. Even though I can see the track names (though not  in an organized manner, all of the data is simply truncated under the "description" heading) in the  metadata pane of the sound clip in PP6. What am I doing wrong? How do I get PPro6 to display [Lav1 Louis]  instead of [A1]? Spending the extra time to manually rename each track name for each clip on the timeline is a non starter.

      Here is the metadata:

      sSPEED=029.970-ND

      sTAKE=01

      sUBITS=$06132013

      sSWVER=1.04.09

      sSCENE=05

      sFILENAME=05T01.WAV

      sTAPE=130613

      sCIRCLED=FALSE

      sTRK1=MixL

      sTRK2=MixR

      sTRK4=Lav2 Louis

      sTRK8=Boom1 Crowd

      sNOTE=Windy

      Thanks for any help.
