How stop a moving image when it reaches given coordinates

Above you can see how my image gallery looks. The little circles rotate at the same time around the big circle, each 360 degres, in continuous loop. Each little circle sits on its own layer. I want to stop all the little images when they reach the initial coordinates of one of those little circles. I want to stop all my images when they reach the start coordinates of the circle named 1 in the above image. What I'm saying is I want them to stop one above the other like a cards deck.

In order to that my idea is keep track of the coordinates of each image in motion and compare them with the stop point coordinates. If they are equal for any of those images stop that image.

How do I keep track of the coordinates of a tweened movieclip instance?
