Yes, it has been removed. You have to use the send comp to media encoder command and render it there.
Do you have any idea why this was done? We have been rendering out MP4 files for years direct from the Render Que. This now seems like a step backwards in productivity.
Was this due to an mpg license issue I wonder.
Edit: I guess it means that sending it to the AME will allow me to keep working in AE while I render out projects. Just another extra step to get used to though. I am sure I will like it once I have worked with it for a bit.
MP4 files suffer badly when you don't use multi pass compression. You should never have been delivering MP4's from the render cue as a finished product. They may have looked OK but they could have been so much better.
