I am experiencing crashes with my mobile app whenever I enable telementry. In previous versions of Scout I never had this issue; it's only with the version released with CC this week. I an using IntelliJ IDEA and using the Python script to inject the telementry data. I am just wondering if the script is now somehow outdated. Anyone know?
Changing the version of Scout wouldn't affect your mobile app, unless you enabled the new "Memory Allocation Tracking" feature. If you're doing memory profiling, make sure you build with the latest version of AIR, since there are bugs in earlier versions that could cause crashes.
The python script is not outdated - nothing has changed with respect to the advanced telemetry swf tag.
Ok, I check out on all those points. It's a Flex app if that would matter, but before all worked ok. It wokrs fine as long as I don't add the telementry, meaning Scout will give me basic information and the mobile app does not crash.
Ok, looks like I did not after all have the latest version of the 3.7 SDK. I installed that and now no more crashes.
