    indesign question

    wgreen13

I copy an image from indesgn to photoshop but the wrong image shows up.

I paste an image to photoshop

then i was pasting another one and the second image kept it original shap the the image was of the image i pasted.

now my bottle of water looks like a loaf of bread in the shape of a bottle?

do i have something not set up right or is Indesgn not able to copy multiple pictures out and paste them to differnt programs?

      Thanks

It's likely that your InDesign file doesn't actually contain any images. By default, images placed in InDesign are only low-resolution proxies representing linkage to the original, full-resolution image, where ever its file resided when placed. Copy/paste to anywhere, other than another InDesign page, is ill-advised.
