I have CC and am trying to open a psd file in indesign but am getting the following message: Adobe indesign may not support the file format (ha ha); a plugin that supports the file format may be missing (yikes); or the file may be open in another app. I have confirmed that the third item is not true. Any help would be appreciated.
You can't open Photoshop images in InDesign. You can, however, import them (using File>Place...) into an InDesign document and then resize them, crop them, rotate them, or even modify their layer visibility. But if you need to edit a Photoshop file, you need to do that in Photoshop.
