I’m not a CC user myself yet … I guess it will happen, but what a regrettable move on Adobe’s part.
Can you reproduce the issue reliably?
Could it be a display issue? (To check could you save an affected file, close and open it to try and see if the data is truly garbled?)
Can someone else (on CC) confirm it?
I too am using Photshop CC and founf this to be an issue. Also found issues using InDesign CC. So far not liking this latest update. Glad I kept CS6 so I can continue with my workflow because this is certainly slowing me down.
Correction... When I clicked on the paths panel and then performed a crop, the vector mask ended up behaving as expected.
When I do an undo and then try to crop my image again, the image and the mask crop like it should.
So now i can't recreate the problem, but I can confirm that there is somethign buggy there.

I am also having this problem. No idea why this is happening, but this is just one of the many annoying issues with the vector tools in CC. Not super pleased. I will definitely be going back to CS6.
So, seems if I save the image as a PSD and re-open it I can crop. I have a feeling this is somehow related to the new way Photoshop handles selecting vector shapes. Really wish I could just go back to CS5
