[SOLVED] Prelude CC, "No Audio" Issue Has Returned

I've just spent a month converting all of my MP4 files to DNxHD. With Adobe Prelude CS6, I was able to injest clips and play them back with audio. If there was an issue, I could go to C:\Users\Adam\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Common\Media Cache Files and delete the .PEK and .CFA files for the particular video, re-open Prelude, and it would force the application to re-conform the audio. It was lame, but at least there was a work around.

Now that CC has come to the table and the issues I had brought up previously were promisted to be fixed/included in this version, I was excited to upgrade. Now that I have, I see my clips begin to conform as soon as they are injested. Opening the clip to begin logging while it's conforming, or waiting until after it has finished conforming, no audio is displayed at all.

Deleting the .PEK and .CFA files forces the re-conform, however it does not bring back the audio. Sending the clip to Premiere, the audio still does not show up. What now?

Update: At some point during my conversion process, my preset started converting files to MP4 AAC (mp4a) audio. Those are the files that would not show audio in Prelude or Premiere. Deleting the .CFA and .PEK files, installing iTunes and Quicktime, and then opening Premiere, all the files began to conform (again) and their audio is now showing up in Premiere. Quite a scare. I wish Premiere and Prelude would inform the user that this "issue" has nothing to do with Adobe, but rather that in order to use the AAC files, other software was required.
