I really like the new font anti-aliasing modes in Windows, but i got one big problem: If i rasterize text its gets a bit thicker and lose all it's touch.
Here's an example: (rendering was: sharper. the top one is the non-rasterized text. looks a lot better)
Test it on your own... just zoom into your type and rasterize it, then you see how its gonna change.
Any Idea how to fix this?
Thanks a lot in advance.
Do you see this when you view at 100%? (Actual Pixels)
my picture above is at 100% and yes i see it.
I guess there is no solution at all? The problem is if i save the psd as a transparent png it gets rastered the same way, but i guess thats logically correct.
I have the same issue. Would be great if Adobe could find any solution for it. PNG images with transparency becomes bolder and more pixelated when saved. It is related to rasterized text layers I described here: Text layer converted to smart object or rasterized becomes bolder / blocky
