everytime I open Indesign document there is a specific style chosen ( when document was saved) and it is white color that will not work for me. So was wondering simple script to reset style to [none]
Please try the below JS code.
app.activeDocument.textDefaults.appliedParagraphStyle = app.activeDocument.paragraphStyles.item ("[Basic Paragraph]"); app.activeDocument.textDefaults.appliedCharacterStyle = app.activeDocument.characterStyles.item ("[None]");
Perfect! thank you very much!
You need to be aware however, that this will not work with any of the language specific versions of InDesign.
As far as I know the "none" style is always the first items in the list, and can not be removed or moved (?), so you could get it by referring to .item (0) instead, if you would like your script to be runnable in (for example) Sweden.
