.xml workspace files - save out to use on other machines

I would like to be able to export/save my current workspace as a .xml from within Indesign CS6 and save it in the presets folder of Indesign CC.

I need this as I freelance and work on lots of different machines and being able to copy my .xml file into the presets folder is fantastic.

What, exactly, is the question here?

Have you tried copying the <workspace name>.xml file that is created in your user library/profile under the CS6 (or Version 8.0) when you save a workspace and pasting it into the workspace folder in your library/profile under version 9.0? I haven't got cc installed yet, so I haven't tried moving my own workspaces, but I would expect the panel arrangements and menus tor transfer OK, though the interface color may not be what you expect.
