Indesign loads up normally, then the "days remaining of trial" box appears, then right after I get the generic Windows "Adobe Indesign CC has stopped working" error.
I had some of the fonts that were causing other users problems. I removed them but it still made no difference.
I also navigated to the folder where the preferences are meant to be, but it's empty - I'm presuming because I haven't yet been able to fully open the program.
Did you do the workaround of removing all your fonts from your fonts folder and adding them in batches?
There's an issue with fonts at the moment that can cause this - adding them in batches lets you narrow down which ones aren't working.
Also, did you search your fonts for the characters that are mentioned in the post?
I've reinstalled and removed all fonts apart from the basic system ones from the computer and I'm still having the program crash on startup.
I also deleted the batang font which was causing others problems, with still no luck.
