    Adobe XI not responding


      Can not open Adobe XI nor will it respond (shows "not responding" in the task bar window).  It does not let me exit the window, I have to restart the computer.  Can anyone Help.  I reinstalled the program w/no resolve.  Then a error box appeared, "Fatal Error.  Acrobat failed to connect to a DDE server".  I have Windows 7.
