How does one remove the audio track from a Premiere file onto a seperate file?

Are you asking how to Export/Share/Publish an Audio file, for use in a different PrE Project, or something else?

Good luck, and please let us know a bit more.

I am assuming that my "audio track" you mean content of an audio track rather than moving the actual Audio 1, 2, 3, or Narration Track or Soundtrack itself around. That is not possible. You can rename the tracks, even hide and add tracks.

If you import video that has video and audio components into a Premiere Elements project, it presents on the Timeline with its video and Video 1 and audio on Audio 1 linked.

You can right click the Timeline file (video audio linked) and select Unlink Audio and Video, and then move the audio separately from the video.

If you have the same situation as above, to get rid of the video from the Timeline file, right click the file and select Delete Video. Conversely, to get rid of the audio from the file, right click the file on the TImeline and selecty Delete Audio.

The audio goes nowhere outside the project unless it is exported (encoded). Please refer to Publish+Share/Computer/Audio and one of its presets as one choice.

If none of the above is the information you seek, then please more details as Hunt as also indicated.

            Thanks.
