I can place that file in ID 6 Mac.
Thanks for testing that - i forgot to mention that it works on Macintosh, doesn't works on Windows 7.
I can't place it in CS4, 5, or 6 on Windows, so whatever the causes, it seems to go way back.
Thanks Peter. It works on CS3, but CS4, CS5, CS5.5 CS6 and CC have that problem.
You can file a bug at Adobe - Feature Request/Bug Report Form, but the only version that might get fixed is cc, and I wouldn't hold your breath waiting. Are you doing anything as a workaround, like renaming the files?
Thanks - that;s the link that i was looking for
Yes - i wrote function to replace decomposed charaters to composed equivalets based on unicode chararates map. but only for those countries that i need to support.
So for example Ä in decomposed form takes 3 bytes 41 CC 88 - so i'm converting it to stanadard character C3 84.
Also i noticed that there's is a function in windows libraries called NormalizeString http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/desktop/dd319093(v=vs.85).aspx.
Unfortunately i haven't enough time to test that function yet.
