That's a new one, but perhaps you are translating from another language and "guilty' isn't really what you mean. Can you give us the exact wording, in whatever language, or a screen capture of the message?
Sorry for my bad english. The correct message is:
Mein Betriebsystem: Apple OS 10.7.5
Don't apologize for your English. I can't speak German at all, so I use translation software when necessary to figure out what's going on.
We do have a number of native German speakers here who will be able to help if I'm wrong, but I believe the message is basically telling you that the SharedContentUI plugin is damaged or missing, and you should probably run the ID installer again to repair it.
Hi there Peter,
I too have upgrded to CC and all apps work fine apart from Indesign.
I don't get an error message, it just crashes 30 seconds after it opens.
I have tried uninstalling and re-installing twice. No luck.
Any help you can give me would be great as the rest of the team have CC and I'm stuck on CS6 for now.
Please start a new thread. Your crash is pretty much guaranteed not to be the same, so your own topic would be helpful. Make sure you tell us what OS you have. If you use a Mac, there's probably a crash report, and you should post it on pastebin.com and include a link to it in your new topic, and describe in as much detail as you can what you are doing, what you see, waht happens, and what you've already tried to fix it.
I uninstalled and installed Indesign CC again and all works fine! No problems! No alert. Perfect!
Thanks for you help
I'm having the same issue ( I think ) I am not a programmer nor am I very technical, so please be patient with me.
Every time I launch Id it gives me a plethora of Startup Alerts saying it can't recognise a certain plug-in. After clicking on "NO" for every single one I can see the splash page BUT Id never loads - it crashes. Then a report page pops-up.
This happened right after I updated my app. There was a conflict with my old app but I think that one got resolved by simply renaming a folder.

First thing, open the CC Application and update InDesign.
If that doesn't help, uninstall, reinstall, and update again.
If that still isn't working, post back.
