CS6 is the final Encore http://www.adobe.com/products/encore/faq.html

I had the same problem... Twice! When you uninstall Premier Pro CS6 it asks you if you want to uninstall Encore as well. I unchecked the Encore box and just uninstalled Premier Pro CS6. I then downloaded Premier Pro CC and installed it. And, you guessed it, when I restarted the computer, Encore was gone.
Now I have to reinstall Premier Pro CS6 and Encore, and try to uninstall Premier Pro CS6 without uninstalling Encore.
I have been through this fire drill twice (yes, it happened two times) adding unnecessary hours to a workflow that should have been fairly easy.
ADOBE, could you please add Encore CS6 to the CC list of programs so I can just download it directly? Would that really be so hard?
John, thanks for the help. This webpage has a link to Premier Pro CS6. Right below the words "IN THIS VERSION" there is a little box with an up and down arrow. It says "Adobe Premier Pro CC" by default. But if you click the little arrow, you can get to the Premier Pro CS6 file you need to download to install (or in my case - reinstall) Premier Pro CS6 and Encore CS6.
Thanks to all who have helped those of us who have lost Encore from our desktops.

While there are a "few" Adobe employees who answer questions here, even they say to go to https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/mmform/index.cfm?name=wishform if you want your message to go directly to Adobe
But... don't hold your breath while you wait... someone at Adobe has decided that writing a DVD/BluRay is no longer required
Thank you for the suggestion and link. I'll do that today.
And, there will be no breath holding. :-)
