How can I move a scene to a new file?

    herewego9

I have been working on editing two scenes under a single saved file and I want to share just one on youtube. I think the only way for me to do this is to move the elements of one scene to a different file. Does anyone know how I can do that?

I have Adobe Premiere Elements 11

      Thanks!

Consider this, if you want to upload only a portion of your Timeline to YouTube from within Premiere Elements 11

At the Timeline level set the gray tabs of the Work Area Bar to span just the clip to be uploaded.

          To set the gray tabs...

          a. Move the Timeline Indicator to the start of the clip. Then hold down the Alt Key and click the left bracket key [

Then move the Timeline Indicator to the end of the clip. Then hold down the Alt Key and click the right bracket key ]

Next in Publish+Share/Online/YouTube, whatever preset you select, make sure that the dialog has a check mark next to Share Work Area Bar Only.

Please let us know if that works for you or if you have any questions on what I have described.

          Thanks.
