    facing stale node issue, casuing outbox flooding

    Day cq5 developer

      While working on cluster environment do we need lock on node to create any child node or any property? Before creating any node we checked whether this node exits or not then based on either we create or return existing node. Does this logic not sufficient in cluster enviornment? We saw duplicate node are getting created sometimes and not sure where it is breaking.  Kindly let me know if anyone faced such kind issue and how it resolved?

      code snippet

      Node childNode = null

      if

      (!parentNode.hasNode(nodeName)){

      childNode= parentNode.addNode(nodeName,type);

      }

      childNode= parentNode.getNode(nodeName);

      thanks
