    GPU/Monitor Setup?

    jonnyst

      Hi All

Hopefully I'm asking this question in the right place.

I have just received a new nVidia GTX 650 Ti Boost GPU, purchased on the recommendations of several esteemed members of this community, to improve the performance of Premiere Pro CS6. And it does just that.

      My question is this:

I run three displays; a Dell U2412 at 1920x1200 flanked by two older displays, one at 1280x1024, the other at 1024x1280. From a GPU performance perspective would I be best running all three displays from the discrete GPU or, for example, running two from the discrete GPU and the third from the on-board video on my system's motherboard? Or won't it make any difference?

      System Details

      OS: Windows 7 Pro 64-bit

      CPU: Intel Core i7 3770

      RAM: 16GB DDR3

      Motherboard: Gigabyste Z77-DH3

      Thanks in anticipation

      Jonny
