1. Re: Why no help search?
Rick Gerard Jul 5, 2013 5:56 AM (in response to Sebasvideo)I'm not sure that searching just in the help files is a better solution than searching for help through the entire support community. There's a search field right inside After Effects at the top right corner that works very well for finding solutions, tutorials, and resources from the entire Adobe support community. The help files are much better organized than they used to be but to be fully functional do require an internet connection.
What is it that you are searching for that you can't find? Maybe we can help. You can find us fromthe help menu.
If you would like to make a feature request you can find that form by typing feature request in the help field in AE or by clicking here.

Sebasvideo Jul 5, 2013 8:20 AM (in response to Rick Gerard)I didn't say that it's always a better solution, sometimes you might want to search the support community, but sometimes you just might want to search a part of the manual and that's it. Whether I type something on the GUI search field or if I go to the main help page, my only option is to seach the community help. That's absolutely ridiculous. If I want to search the manual, my only option is to open the PDF manual and do a search there, which takes extra steps to get to.

Hi Sebasvideo,If you want to search the manual only, click the "Search this Reference Only" radio button on the Search Results page.
Thanks,
