Lately I've been doing some lightpainting with people in my photos. The people are lit by a flash. The problem is, that because the exposures are 4 seconds long and the flash is so brief, the people are somewhat transparent because of the camera exposing the background behind them. Is there anyway to make the people opaque in photoshop?
Don't paint moving people. People are not transparent and will block out the background behind them. What your doing freezing or highlighting a portion of a blur using a strobe of light.
Oh, I understand. So when I use the strobe, they should be standing still. I was trying to replicate some dance lightpainting photos that I found, and now that I think about it, the flash occurs when the people aren't in motion.
However, is there still a way to fix the transparency that occurs?
