I have flowed text from a pdf into a 200 page indesign document and it is full of italics and bolds. Is it possible to convert the italics and bolds to character styles using find/change? For example, change all instances of times italic into a character style whose font is set to be times italic?
Found the answer, it's done by clicking on the more options button in find/change. The little magnifying glass icons open a window where you can specify fonts and styles.
