1. Re: Effect keyframes not working on Adjustment layer
danzg Jul 9, 2013 1:29 PM (in response to danzg)Does not work for any effect on an adjustment layer.
(It did work yesterday. Just restarted, still doesn't work.)

2. Re: Effect keyframes not working on Adjustment layer
jstrawn Jul 9, 2013 1:54 PM (in response to danzg)I just tried your steps in CC with no problems. Since it was working one day but not the next, then it's probably not a straight-forward repro. We'll need to know what may have changed, or what you did differently between sessions. Also, I would suggest going back and looking at the animation you set up for the adjustment layer in the Effect Controls Panel -- are the blurriness keyframes still setup correctly? What about the blend mode under the opacity twirlie? Does it work when you apply the effext + keyframes directly to a video clip and not as an adjustment layer?

3. Re: Effect keyframes not working on Adjustment layer
danzg Jul 9, 2013 2:00 PM (in response to jstrawn)Yes, it works when applied to a clip directly.
Blend mode is normal, opacity is 100%.
Set it up identically to yesterday.
I'm going to uninstall CS6 and CC, and re-install CC. Too many weird issues.

4. Re: Effect keyframes not working on Adjustment layer
jstrawn Jul 9, 2013 2:14 PM (in response to danzg)I was going to urge you to not bother to re-install since the other problem you jsut reported was matching whaty I saw. But this one does seem strange because it was working fine and now it's not. Something could be going wrong at the app package or system level. So re-installing would not be a bad place to start.
For the record, I have run prpro CS6 and CC together many times with no issue, and that is a supported config, so you should't HAVE TO uninstall anything. Still since you're seeing some erratic behavior it might not be a bad idea for the sake of troubleshooting.

5. Re: Effect keyframes not working on Adjustment layer
danzg Jul 9, 2013 6:17 PM (in response to danzg)Turns out the problem was that the underlying video was an .m4v file.
For whatever reason, Premiere wasn't processing it correctly.
I replaced it with an .mov, and now it works fine.
Go figure.
